The Indiana Daily Student was my home for four years while I attended IU. During my time there, I served in several different positions including region editor, campus editor, IU police beat reporter, managing editor and copy editor.
I also did a few things for IU’s student magazine, INSIDE, including writing a first-person essay about my accident. I received a 2012 Society of Professional Journalists National Mark of Excellence Award for “Living with one.”
